Espy winner 2025: complete results, highlights, best moments of The Espys

For one night every summer, the sports world pauses the best players, coaches and performances of the past year.

The 2025 Espy Awards were organized by the comedian Shane Gillis in the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. Trophies were distributed for the best male athletes (Shai Gilgeous-Alexander), the best athlete (Simone Biles), the best record performance (Alex Ovechkin) and more.

Many athletes like Russell Wilson, Lindsey Vonn and Billie Jean King were moderators, and several celebrities such as Druki and Alison Brie were also in the house. An incredible homage to the retiring Lee Corso from Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and Pat McAfee and a speech by this year's Jimmy V Prize, Penn State Volleyball coach Katie Schumacher-Cawley, were two of the night.
