Zac Brown talks exclusively about the Sphere run and the new album

If the immersive, state-of-the-art sphere sphere did not already exist, Zac Brown should have invented it.

“I've wanted to make a spectacle for a few years,” he says Advertising board. “I planned to find out how to do something where the production and the fan experience are only switched on [another] Level. And then I heard in my planning to do this, from the sphere and toured the building while it was under construction. I said, “This is the place …” The sphere is the biggest canvas ever created for the imagination. “

A little more than two years after the ball opened in September 2023 with U2, Brown and his ZAC Brown band colleagues will get time there Love & fearA limited commitment with four shows that corresponds to the publication of the similar, seventh album in full length. The ball data are from December 5th to 6th and from December 12th to 13th. When asked whether he would expect more concerts to be added, Brown simply says: “Yes”.

Last week the band scrubbed their socials and indicated that a new chapter was posted on Instagram: “There is no way to grasp what the last chapter meant for us … The next chapter? It is the biggest so far.” Then the band has the dramatic cover of the Love & fear Album, which looks a struggle between a mythical angel and devil with the message “two sides of the same truth”.

Brown calls the Sphere appearance and the new album “2.0 for our band. There are some bands, they continue for a while and then they get tired, they stop,” he says. “But my passion and creativity are almost never before, and I just want to push the envelope from what our band is capable of and bring our fans for the journey … This is our chance to show that we don't get slower. We actually have our foot on petrol.”

The band, which has been awarded five albums with Grammy, Poster wall 'S Country Albens Chart, started working on the album two and a half years ago and then the visuals for the Sphere run began 14 months ago. “Every detail of [the] The show will be extremely unforgettable, ”says Brown. He promises that the performance (in a good way)“ let people's eyes bleed and they feel every reach of the human emotions we are capable of. ”

The album that the band itself releases and the show tell the story of Browns. “You know, I have never really told anyone who doesn't know me really well,” says the born in Georgia, “and that's an opportunity to do all of these things.”

The first track of the album, “I'm not concerned about it”, is already out, while a new track, “Let IT Run” (feat. Snoop Dogg), will come out on Friday (July 18). The album also shows Dolly Parton and Marcus King.

Brown goes so far Love & fear “One of our masterpieces and the amount of work we put in it is incredible when a 40-part orchestra has [to] have a 20-part choir. “He says that the same detail went into the enveloping experience that the band created for the sphere.

Brown, who saw Phish, Eagles and Anyma at the venue, says that the show's planning process was too farm. “Our challenge for us is to increase the bar. You are only limited to your imagination and your budget,” he says. “It is this massive creative mountain, but I love it absolutely and I am obsessed with it. You build the plane while you fly it.”

The show will take the participants on a trip in which about six songs from the new album with many of the hits of the Multi Platinum Group are reinterpreted in a way that builds up a coherent story, says Brown.

He says he has no hesitation to reveal so much of himself in the album and the show. “I think that makes our humanity,” he says. “As an artist, they are naked on a fence anyway and people can either say: 'This is amazing', or they can throw lazy vegetables on you. But that's a risk that you have to be ready. Fight hard for who you are.”

The band limited their tour to develop the album and the show and encourage fans to get into the sphere. For example, in October until Vegas Run has only a handful of Australian data.

“I pull every friend that I have on the planet for this album and in the sphere,” he says. “Because of the contract with the sphere, you can't really go out and tour, i.e. in all the money we would tour, we only bet on ourselves and invest all the money it takes to create everything. I want to build things up, and this is a time for us to do it.

After the run of the ball, Brown plans to take that Love & fear show on the street. Although certain elements only work in the Vegas attraction, the topics are adapted and transferred to more conventional venues.

“We have to build all of our staging and all our lighting and everything that goes into the sphere so that we can bring these pieces onto the street,” says Brown. “But the level of detail and the time and energy that was initiated in creating the video content [for Sphere]It just won't be that big, a canvas [on the road.] I mean, the sphere is like a modern miracle. “
