The new Task Force starts in Houston to take over transnational crimes

Houston – The investigation for immigration and customs authorities in Houston Field Office and FBI Houston announced the foundation of a Task Force for Homeland Security in Houston on Thursday to avert growing threats from transnational criminal organizations in Southeast Texas.

The Task Force was founded as a regional component of the Task Force of the National Homeland Security, which was founded by the Ministry of Homeland Protection and the Ministry of Justice in accordance with an executive regulation issued on January 29 to protect the American people from the invasion through transnational criminals.

The aim of the Task Force is to end the presence of criminal cartels, foreign gangs and transnational criminal organizations that work in a collaborative approach of the entire government approach in Southeast Texas. HSTF will carry out intelligent, multi -jurisdictional studies on drug trafficking, money laundering, arms trade, human trafficking, alien smuggling, murder, extortion, kidnapping, exploitation of children and other transnational crimes, murder, extortion, kidnapping, exploitation of children and other transnational crimes after approval.

The Houston HSTF will work closely with state and local partners to identify, examine and eliminate violent criminal organizations and employees in communities in Southeast texas.

“Since transnational criminal organizations, foreign terrorist organizations, drug cartels, foreign gangs and other bad actors develop and become more demanding, it is important that we work together as a law enforcement community to find transformative ways in order to confront the emerging threats,” said the specialagent, who was responsible for by HSI Houston Special Agent. “This applies in particular in Southeast Texas, where we face countless unique border-related challenges and threats from transnational criminal organizations. By creating this permanently integrated, multicent-task force with committed staff from the federal, state and local law enforcement authorities on site with a common mission.

The HSTF has its headquarters in Houston and has a satellite office in Corpus Christi.
