Tallahasee -suspect accuses this week that he tried to pay off the juror


Tallahassee, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee – suspect was accused this week of trying to pay off a juror in his criminal proceedings.

The 29 -year -old Jacari Porter studied drug production and trade. He appeared in front of a judge on Monday in Leon County's courthouse for the selection of the jury.

Court files claimed that he turned to a juror in the parking garage in the parking garage about 20 minutes after the jury was sworn in on Monday. Porter allegedly approached the jury's passenger window while the juror was waiting in her car to leave the garage.

“The accused then undertaken with the juror to help the defendant,” says an affidavit.

The juror said he couldn't speak to him and reported the incident to the court.

When Porter was taken into custody again, the MPs found a “large bundle of currency” on him, which they had regarded as the means with which he would have paid the juror for court documents.

At the time of submitting the court documents, the authorities had not spoken to the second jury on Tuesday.

Porter's process has been postponed in the next month. He is now charged with manipulation of a juror in connection with the incident.
