The rural U -Bahn evacuates part of the district of Knox County to Gasleck

Knoxville, tenn. – Part of a district of Knox County had to be evacuated after a gas leak, said the rural Metro Fire.

The crews reacted to the Dogwood Road area on Thursday afternoon after a trench crew had hit a gas line.

The rural U -Bahn evacuated houses within 300 feet from the line until the leak was stopped. Nobody was injured.

According to the rural metro, the Knox County deputies had to be called to convince a person after refusing to leave their home.

Kub stopped the leak and checked the affected houses nearby so that the evacuated could return home.
