Kentucky basketball highlights and reactions for scrimmage victory against La Familia

Kentucky Basketball carried out a big test outside of the season on Wednesday evening with the alumni squad La Familia in a closed scrimmage in Lexington.

According to Matt Jones von KSR, the wildcats took care of eight points in a competitive fight and after the fight.

The starting line -up for Kentucky showed Jaland Lowe, Denzel Aberdeen, Otega Oweh, Trent Noah and Brandon Garrison, which is a surprise, since many thought that Mo Dioubate would start over Noah. The game ended with an ELAM end when Denzel Aberdeen sank the game winner, said Jack Pilgrim from KSR.

La Familia showed former wildcats such as the Harrison Twins Archie Goodwin, Willie Cauley-Stein and Doron Lamb, who didn't just do things. Archie and the Harrison Brothers were reportedly the top performers of the Alumni squad, says Jones of KSR.

As far as Kentucky is concerned, the outstanding owe and Lowe, which an observer for the wildcats called “clearly the best players”, added Jones.

The highlight role was loaded. Archie Goodwin opened with a hard competitive two, but Trent Noah replied with a floater, and Brandon Garrison met Noah for a simple bucket. Lowe and Jasper Johnson each bored three and Aberdeen nailed several shots, including the last dagger.

Oweh was everywhere with a strong edge, fouls and hit the middle area and deep. Dioubate had an influence with strength inside and three over Cauley-Stein. The intensity, skills and team chemistry were obvious.

For Kentucky it was a promising step forward.
