Two people were charged with a fatal fentanyl overdose in Lacombe. Two people were charged with a fatal fentanyl overdose in Lacombe.

The lawyer of the St. Tammany Parish district said, Paige Andrews, 27 and Dustin Carver, 25 by Slidell for second degree for murdering systems when the 26-year-old Dustin Banks died.

The accusations follow a six-month investigation by the opioid initiative of the district prosecutor and the Fentanyl overdosing team of the DEA. Both suspects should appear in court next week.

Andrews and Carver were planned in court on July 31, 2025 in front of judge John Keller.
