'Saiyaara' breaks pre-Sales Records for Bollywood debut film

Yash Raj Films' upcoming Bollywood-romantic drama “Saiyaara” destroyed the advance payment records for a debutant film in India and sold over 45,000 tickets in large theater chains in the first 24 hours.

The film staged by Mohit Suri, debutant Ahaan Panday, plays his debut and emerging star Aneet Padda (Prime Video's “Big Girls Don't Cry”). Panday plays Krish Kapoor, an up -and -coming musician, whose raw talent and ambitions put him on a collision course with the realities of the modern music industry. As Krish Vaani (Anee Padda), a talented and fundamental songwriter, Sparks Fly – both creatively and personally. With the deepening of your partnership, her connection to a romance is also blooming, which is as passionate as complicated.

The sales figures come from the PVR-Dinox and Cinepolis chains, which typically make up 60-65% of the Hindis-spoken film revenue in India.

The film's marketing strategy was particularly unconventional, whereby the studio – known for both its romances and for its spy universe – has deliberately kept the main actors away from public appearances and interviews to build puzzles to build their debuts. Instead, the campaign focused on the music and the content of the film.

“We have decided to make a very pure film and I am glad that he connects with the audience and makes them see Saiyaara,” said director Mohit Suri. “We have not tried to exceed the film to the audience. Our campaign was all heart and we are very satisfied with the answer we have so far.”

The film's soundtrack has generated significant enthusiasm with tracks by prominent artists, including Faeem-Arslan's title track, Jubin Nautiyals “Barbaad”, Vishal Mishras “Tum Ho Toh”, Sachet-Parampara's “Humsafar” and Arijit Singh and Shospas “Dhuns” together with Reprisy and Shoshoca, and with Shrises from Shrey and Mithoon, with Shely, with Shrey with Shrey with Shrey with Shrey with Shrey with Shrey and Shelya, with Shrey Ass.

The trade analyst Taran Adarsh noticed the progress of the film on X and wrote: “What happens to #saiyaara is almost unprecedented. A film that is listed by ranked newcomers who are not secured by a teaser, a trailer and a few songs that have no interviews, no city visits, no climatic reels.

The cooperation marks the first time that Yash Raj Films has worked with Suri, who previously conducted successful romantic dramas such as “Aashiqui 2” and “EK Villain”. The film is produced by YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani.

“Saiyaarara” is on July 18 for the worldwide theater publication and positions Panday as a male leadership of the next generation and Padda as the new heroine of the studio.
