Princess Kates Neuer Ringstack is “a master class in symbolic storytelling”

When Prince William Kate Middleton suggested in 2010, he gave her the most famous engagement ring in the world: the 12-carat cylon-sapphire, which belongs to his late mother, Princess Diana. Princess Kate added a traditional Welsh Gold Ehering when she married William in 2011 and also wore Eternity rings over the years. But during the Wimbledon Championships 2025, she was wearing a stack of three bands together with her legendary engagement ring for the first time.

The Princess of Wales made a stack of eternity rings with her wedding ring in the summer of 2024 and was without Diana's characteristic sappherring in a video with Olympic Games in Paris and a role that announced that she had completed chemotherapy treatment. Together with her wedding ring in the yellow gold, Kate wore the Annoushka Diamond Band, from which it was assumed that after the birth of Prince George in 2013 she was a gift from Prince William. A Sapphire and Diamond Etincelle de Cartier -Ehering and a thinner diamond ring ring ring was added to the mix.

In October 2024 Princess Kate carried the stack without an engagement ring again and during her first appearance of 2025 when visiting the hospital, in which she was treated for cancer – and although she has worn her huge sapphire since then, Wimbledon marked the first time when she combined her engagement ring with several Eternity ribbons. During the championships, she seemed to leave her new Diamond -Eternity band at home and wear her Cartier ring with her older Diamond -eternity -Band.
