The EU presents the ban on north stream imports in Russia sanctions

The European Union has approved a strong new sanctions against Russia, banned imports from the North Stream pipelines and tightens the limits of oil exports.

“We are certain. The EU has just approved one of its strongest sanction packages to Russia so far,” said Kaja Kallas to X.

“Nord Stream Pipelines (imports) are prohibited. A lower oil price limit. We put more pressure on the Russia's military industry, Chinese banks, which enable sanctions to avoid and block the technological sports used in drones,” she added.

The package also includes restrictions on Chinese banks that support sanction failures to block access to global finances for Russian banks and the 105 blacklists 105 ships.

“We further reduce the Kremlin war budget,” she said, referring to the Russia Ukraine War, which made most EU sanctions against Moscow.

Kallas also revealed that the EU for the first time describes a register for foreign flags and imposes sanctions against the largest refinery in India, which belongs to the Russian company Rosneft.

“We will increase the costs again and again, so that stopping aggression is the only way for Moscow,” she added.
