Apple is suing Youtuber Jon Prosser, Associate, via iOS 26 -Blecks, claims business secrets theft

Before his publication in June, ProSser published several videos that present the functions of the iOS 26 operating system.

Apple has filed a lawsuit against Youtuber Jon Prosser and Michael Ramacciotti because he allegedly published business secrets in connection with iOS 26 at the beginning of this year, according to Macrumors.

According to the complaint, ProSser and Ramacciotti allegedly worked together to receive unauthorized access to a prototype of the iPhone from Apple employees Ethan Lipnik. According to reports, they received his pass code and followed his location to identify a time when he would be gone for a long time.

Apple claims that Ramacciotti accessed the device and initiated a FaceTime call to ProSser, in which he presented features from iOS 26, the upcoming, unpublished iPhone operating system of the company at the time.

ProSser is said to have recorded the call and later used the film material to create rendered mockups in its videos published in January, March and April.

Apple has terminated Lipnik's employment since then and has now requested an injunction to prevent further leaks and cash damage.

Based on the information, ProSser published several “Leak” videos of the redesign of the software before its official unveiling at Apple WWDC in June.

These elements seemed to be seen to different degrees in Apple's final publication of iOS 26. Although not all the leaked designs matched the official version of Apple, a large part of the visual direction was largely precise according to the Macrumors report.

In a statement on publication, ProSser Version of the events and claimed that he was “not aware that the situation was playing”, and said that he was looking forward to “talking to Apple about it”.
