Warning for yellow rainy weather for Devon and Cornwall exhibited

For Sunday and Monday in Cornwall, Devon and The Isles of Scilly, a yellow weather warning was published against heavy rain and remote thunderstorms.

The Met Office said that the warning would be available on Sunday until 3:00 a.m. on Monday from 12:00 BST.

An area with heavy rain with remote thunderstorms could develop and influence Cornwall, Devon and the islands of Scilly.

It was 30 to 50 mm of rain in a few hours and there was a little chance that some places could see 75 mm or more.
