The inmates of Lexington Death Row, who was charged with murder in 1998, dies

Lexington, Ky. (Lex 18) -lex 18 has learned that the Lexington Death Row inmate was charged with Johnathon GOFORTH, who was charged in 1998 for murder and robbery for murder and robbery.

Both GOFFORH and co -swörers Virginia Caudill were convicted of crime in March 2000 and sentenced to death.

GOFORTH's lawyer, David Barron from the Ministry of Public Interest Representation, said that GOFORTH had become sick and died in a private hospital.

“Mr. GoForth had complained about serious medical symptoms that should have been addressed in the past and should be treated faster, which might have led to less bad consequences of his health,” said Barron.

Records show that Caudill is still in the death cell in the Kentucky Correctional Institute for Women.

Decency

On March 15, 1998, GOFORTH and CAUDILL went home of White, brought them to death and broke their home. The two then put their body in the trunk of their vehicle, drove to a rural area in Fayette County and burned the car.

Barron represented GOFFORH in both the federal and state challenges for his conviction. At the time of his death, Barron found that GOFFORH “had two significant challenges that had the considerable probability that his conviction was lifted, or at least his death sentence was reversed”.
