Airplane lands the landing after the opening effort after the passenger has tried to open the emergency exit in flight

A regional jet landed an emergency landing in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Thursday evening after a passenger tried to open a starting door and with a flight attendant in a discussion.

The Delta Connection Flight 3612 operated by Skywest Airlines flew from Omaha to Detroit, when the disorder took place around 7 p.m. local time, the Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement.

A passenger was “in a fight with our flight attendant and tried to open the emergency exit”. The pilot shines through the tower at Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids after taking the LiveAtc.net website.

The passenger did not raise the door and the plane landed safely and steered to the goal.

Video, which was published by a passenger on social media, showed the law enforcement authorities who accompanied a man out of the plane with reserved hands behind his back.

“Skywest has no tolerance for unruly behavior as security for our customers and the crew is our top priority,” said the airline in an explanation.

So far, there have been more than 870 reports of unruly passengers in aircraft in the USA this year. Potential punishments are prison sentences, fines and travel restrictions.
