Lexington, Ky. (WKYT) -Zwei in connection with the death of a 20-month-old boy arrested, after an indictment against the Grand jury, are now charged.

According to court files, Kyle Shannon-Lee Guindon and Briana Leigh Johnson were charged with a Grand jury from Fayette County to the death of Joshua Bowen, who was not responded in a Center Parkway-Haus in July 2024.

Guindon is now charged with murder, first degree attacks and criminal abuse of the first degree, which was accused of causing Joshua's death through blunt violence dreams and participating in behaviors that showed extremely indifferent to human life.

Johnson is charged with the first degree and criminal abuse of the first degree. The indictment claims that she abused the child and/or knowingly allowed another person to abuse it, which led to his death.

At the time of her arrest, Guindon was charged with the first degree for assault and criminal abuse, while Johnson was charged with criminal abuse.
