Poorna Jagannathan occupied in the Lars Kepler -based Apple series

Poorna Jagannathan (Deli jungPresent Lantern) and Gary Carr (Genius: MLK/XPresent The peripheral) are the latest stars in the Apple TV+ and A+ E studios based on the best -selling crime novels by Lars Kepler. Filming begins this summer in Pittsburgh.

The project tells the story of Jonah Lynn (Schreiber), an ex-soldier who became murdered who fed up with working the hard streets of Philadelphia, to a small town in the west of Pennsylvania for a quiet life. But when the city and his family are attacked from the devilish series killer Jurek Walter (Stephen Graham), Jonah has to protect everything he loves. When the desperate search for Jurek's last missing victim Jonah his adoptive daughter, FBI Agent Saga Bauer (Beetz), sent against Jurek how far will Jonah go?

Jagannathan and Carr, who will repeat themselves, join the previously announced series tribe guests: Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Rory Culkin and Chrissy Metz.

Jagannathan will play Quinn, an FBI agent of DC who bends to Jonah to navigate as an outsider in the narrow small city while dealing with her personal lifesy.

Carr will play Nathan, a forensic investigator who is dedicated to Jona, but reconciled with his feelings for Saga.

rowan Joffe and John Hlavin, together with Tim van Patten, become the project and the Executive Produce Co-Showrun, which will lead the first two episodes. Filming will begin in Pittsburgh this summer.

Lars Kepler is a pseudonym for writing partner Alexandra Coelho Andoril and Alexander Andoril. Kepler is a bestseller thriller with 10 published crime novels that have sold 18 million copies worldwide.

The series is produced by A+ E Studios in connection with Range Studios and is produced by the show runners Joffe and Hlavin. In addition to the leading role, Schreiber produces Executive as well as Beetz via her Sleepy Poppy Production Company. Van Patten, Kepler (Alexandra Coelho Andorilil and Alexander Andorilil), Oystein Karlsen, David Rysdahl, Dorothy Fortenberry and Niclas Salomonsson also serve as Executive Producers, and Julie Herrin serves as Co-Executive Producer.
