Mariners Game #97 Preview, 07/18/25: Sea vs. Hou

After an exciting all-star week, in which our own Cal Raleigh shines on the national stage, the ditch of the second half is underway. For the third time in the last four seasons, the MS will come from the break into the Astros and hope to reverse the trend of their last two sessions (a combined 1: 5 record).

Constellations:

@Mariners

@Aastros

Luis Castillo gets the ball out of the goal for Seattle and will build against the Tigers against the Tigers last Friday against the Tigers. While the bullpen was rested after the break, La Piedra would go into the game a little tonight, as this is the first game of a 17-game route without a day. The MS will roll out their right line this evening, and with the deep reserve of Southpaw Pitchers in Houston, we may see no ton of the pinch that has penetrated the season.

As far as the Astros is concerned, Isaac -paredes will compete instead of the injured Jeremy Peña, and old friend Taylor Trammell beats sixth place and plays the midfield. Lefty Brandon Walter will start on the hill, and Seattle may have many opportunities with his Pinpoint command (two walks in 40.2 Inning!) To cause some damage to parking spaces in the zone.

News:

They may have been worried that the starter will remain determined on Sunday, and according to Shannon Drayer, the MS will still find out who will take the hill. Logan Gilbert and George Kirby are both healthy. So look for one of you or an all-star Bryan Woo to enter.
