The Nebraska Ministry of Transport published June in June Traffic Conductor

Lincoln, Neb. (Klkn) – The Nebraska Ministry of Transport published its monthly traffic strand on Friday.

In June, 18 people were killed on the streets of Nebraska in traffic accidents, according to the data collected by the department.

These 18 deaths occurred in 15 fatal accidents throughout the state, while three were pedestrians.

Two of the fatal accidents occurred on the highway, while six were on other highways and 10 on local roads.

Twelve of the deaths occurred in rural places.

According to the department, there were 19 deaths in June 2024.

From January to June 2024 there were 122 deaths in 109 fatal accidents. In the same period in 2025 there were 100 deaths with 91 fatal accidents.

The department said that 33 of the 82 vehicles killed in 2025 used seat belts.
