Proofing dealers and dad, who are now charged for fentanyl deaths by infant

Proofing dealers and dad, who are now charged for fentanyl deaths by infant

A long court meeting on Friday afternoon in the Justice Hall in Santa Clara in the case of two men who were accused of murder in the death of a child began with defenders who asked for a gag connection.

Renee Hessling, who represents Philip Ortega, and Mishya Singh, who represents David Castro, both said that the comments of the district prosecutor's office on the media could endanger the ability of their customer to receive a fair negotiation. Judge Hector Ramon filed the application and the district prosecutor said he believes that both men are being treated fairly.

“If you decide in court, you can and will receive a fair procedure in Santa Clara County,” said Jeff Rosen, Prosecutor's Prosecutor of Santa Clara County.

The background story:

The two men were responsible for the fentanyl poisoning of a child in Department 23 of the Supreme Court in San Jose. Ortega will now be charged in the death of the child in 2023 because of the death of the “Baby Winter” month later because of the same charges for murder.

“Both beautiful babies. And both have now disappeared tragically due to the criminal ruthlessness of their parents and a drug dealer,” said Rosen.

The prosecutors said in May 2023 that Ortega sold Fentanyl and other drugs to Castro. The next day, “Baby Phoenix” took fentanyl and killed the child. The investigators said that the 33-year-old Ortega also sold drugs to the parents of “Baby Winter” three months later, and this child also took up and died the substance.

“He had no connection to these children. He is not the father of these children. If at all, he is one of the many young people who have fallen to an opioid epidemic,” said defender Hessling.

Fentanyl deaths

Santa Clara County has seen a rash for fentanyl deaths and poisoning in recent years. Some experts said that the addictive properties exceed alcohol, cocaine or heroin.

“If someone has a fentine shear several times a day, they enter this state of retreat, in which nothing is really important than relieving the agony of withdrawal,” said Dr. Rachel Sussman, family medicine expert at Stanford University.

District officers said that the crisis would be better thanks to new laws and treatment programs.

“I think people are now aware. And if they are aware that the supply and demand will slow down. If they slow down the supply and demand and people cannot make money, and people no longer stop bringing this stuff into the country,” said Senator David Cortese, San Jose, California, Senator David Cortese.

Ortega's case is now connected to that of Castro, whose drug addiction to drug addiction has led to the death of his daughter. He is charged with murder, risk to crime and the possession of fentanyl.

“My hope, my prayer is that these two dead girls will change things for better. I hope we honor their memory by preventing future terrible crimes,” said Rosen.

Both men have not guilty and should be 9 a.m. on July 28th for a preliminary hearing in court.
