Heavy thunderstorms for a large part of the southern Alberta

Environment Canada advises residents in South Alberta about a potential storm.

It has published a severe thunderstorm for communities, including Lethbridge, Coaldale, Taber, Fort Macleod, Pincher Creek, Crowsnest Pass, Milk River, Cardston, Claresholm and others.

According to weather forecasts, thunderstorms are expected to develop on Friday afternoon or evening, July 18.

“These thunderstorms have the potential to become serious and bring big hail, strong winds and heavy rain,” says Environment Canada.
