The decision of the New York Yankees to go with an opener was not planned as planned on Friday evening and fell 7: 3 in the Atlanta Braves in their first game after the All Star break.

Ian Hamilton had the start, but was marked for three runs in the first inn, and Atlanta never looked back. The Yankees finally broke through in the seventh against the Bullpen of the Braves. Ben Rice doubled, Austin Wells took care and Giancarlo Stanton provided a double with two runs. Cody Bellinger added an RBI single to cut the deficit to 7: 3, but the rally ended there after the Aaron judge had hit two one.

Reis led the way to the plate and went 2-to-4 with two double pairs. Judge and Jasson Domínguez each struck three times on a hard night for the tip of the order.
