Apple sues Youtuber Jon Proser about iOS 26 LECKS

Apple submitted a lawsuit in front of a Californian federal court against Tech Youtuber Jon Prosser and Michael Ramacciotti and accused them of stealing business secrets in connection with the upcoming iPhone software -update, iOS 26. According to a report by Reuters, Apple was published online before the official publication.

In the lawsuit submitted on Thursday, it is said that Ramacciotti has accessed details of iOS 26 with a telephone that was published to an Apple employee. He allegedly passed this information on to ProSser, who then shared in a video on his popular YouTube channel, the title Tech.

When ProSser spoke to Reuters on Friday, he deliberately contested misconduct. He said, “I certainly did not” plotted “to steal information, and I knew how they were originally preserved.” He added that he was looking forward to sharing his site in court.

Who is Jon ProSser?

Jon Prosser is a well-known figure in the Tech world, which is best known for performing the tech of the YouTube Channel start page. It regularly divides leaks and details about unpublished Apple products and software.

In January, ProSser was the first to deal with information about iOS 26 that Apple is expected this autumn.

Apple's allegations

According to the lawsuit, ProSser persuaded Ramacciotti's product analyst and video editor to access a development telephone that worked at Apple. Apple claims that Ramacciotti needed “money” and broke into the phone while he stayed with the friend's home.

As reported by The Times of India, Ramacciotti showed the unpublished software during a FaceTime call. ProSser is said to have recorded the call and used it to create “reconstructed” visuals from iOS 26 for his YouTube channel, which generates ads.

Apple has also explained that the employee Ethan Lipnik was released by the company because he could not secure the development device. The company is now striving to relieve injunctive relief and the damage.

The video of ProSser showed several functions from the unpublished iOS 26, including:

• A simplified camera app with optimized buttons for switching between photo and video modes.
• A newly designed news app with round navigation keys and a keyboard with rounded corners
• A new interface with liquid glass with smooth, glass -like images, pill -shaped tie beams and overall softer design elements.
