At the premiere of the new I know what you did last summer The 49 -year -old restart, prince, tells people exclusively that Gellar's appearance in the original film from 1997 is one for the history books.

“Your character, it's so great. People love this character so much, and I really mean: I think it's one of the best death scenes in the history of horror films,” he enthuses.

The reason, says Prinze, is that “the hope showed more effectively than everyone of his colleagues than every horror film that I remember”, adding that he “saw almost everyone”.

“This last recording in which she runs towards the parade and she will make it, and this is a figure that has been ruled by the entire film of cowardice, and it finally becomes brave,” recalls Prince. “When the fisherman blocks her way, she will fight. And I know that the whole audience said: 'Yes, F-Sie will fight.' ”

“And her reward is death and she won't be the last girl. And the crowd said: 'Oh my god!' And it tore out her soul and I love that. ”

Prinze realizes that giving away the audience of this feeling “what horror films do better than any other kind of film”.

The 49 -year -old Gellar played as Helen in the original film. When asked whether she would return to the last issue in October 2024, Gellar joked: “I'm dead.”

In the new film, a group of twenty hunting ducks (Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Sarah Pidgeon, Jonah Hauer-King and Tyriq Withers) cause a fatal car accident in Southport, NC, and flee from the scene. A year later, a murderer is in the slicker of a fisherman for revenge, and the panicked friends consult two survivors of the massacre in 1997: Hewitt's Julie James, the survivor of the series, now a professor of trauma, and Prince's Ray Bronson.

“Whatever a high school union feels, it felt like this,” says Prinze to the people who are reunited with Hewitt in their decades of roles. “You have no idea what has changed, what is the same. You are excited about what you think that you are better, you know what I mean? You hope that you will notice it.”

“I love what you did with Ray,” says Prinze, noting that his role is “not a cameo” or a “one-scene thing”. He says that director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson and co-author Sam Lansky “put so much time in Ray and Julie, and in this film you are such a driving force that people get it that they are looking for from these characters.”
