4 shots, 1 fatal, in South Chicago

A man is dead and three people are wounded after a shootout in the neighborhood of South Chicago on Saturday morning, the police said.

Shortly before 5 a.m., the officials responded to a reputation of a person who was shot in the 8200 block of the South Houston Avenue. They found a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound on her neck that was declared dead at the scene.

A 22-year-old woman was shot and listed in good condition at the Medical Center of the University of Chicago. Two men between the ages of 38 and 25 were brought into the same hospital in a serious state with gunshot wounds.

Nobody is in custody and detectives.
