Scottie Scheffler's extraordinary performance in the third round catapulted him into the top when we go to the fourth day of the 153rd open championship.

The favorite of the world No. 1 and tournament in the third round in the Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland scored a 4-under-par 67 and kept its position at the top of the ranking. Scheffler sits on Sunday, July 20th, in four strokes in front of Haotong Li, who takes place under the fourth round with a score of 10.

Rory McIlroy, the favorite of the hometown, began on the third day for 12th place at -3. In an exciting turn of the events, McIlroy blended on the course under perfect conditions and ended his third round with an impressive score of 8-under-Par, a step that electrified the tournament and put it to fifth place.

USA Today Sports had a complete round 4 of Royal Portrush, including the complete rankings and highlights.

Haotong Li had an impressive round and ended with a bogey on the 18th hole, which secured second place on the ranking. Li will start his last round in the last group on Sunday.

Matt Fitzpatrick fought on the 17th hole, looked a difficult chip over the bunker and missed his par putt. It is currently under 10 when he approaches the 18th hole.

Scottie Scheffler continues to impress with a strong discount to start the 16th hole. Then he followed it with a successful putt for birdie and expanded his lead. Scheffler is now 4-under-par when he goes to the 17th hole.

Rory McIlroy ended his third round by almost giving a 47.5-foot putt, but he ended the round with a score of 8 and kept him in striking distance when he went into the last round on Sunday.

Rory McIlroy started the 16th hole with a challenging tee that landed in the Rough. He followed this shot with a chip that lay the ball four feet from the hole, which he then made to keep him in fifth place to keep it at 8-Unter-Par.

Scottie Scheffler and Matt Fitzpatrick continue to fight for the top of the ranking, as both do on the 10th hole pars. Scheffler is currently leading Fitzpatrick with two shots when they go to the 11th hole.

Rory Mcilroy's ball landed in an area where a lot of fan jams had been enlarged all week. When he nailed his second shot, he was surprised to see another ball below him that rested at his feet.

Scottie Scheffler took the lead again in 7th place with an Eagle Putt, while Fitzpatrick held step on the same hole with a birdie putt. Scheffler is now at 12 under and two par-fours to close his first nine holes. Rory McIlroy is back on the 532-yard-par 5 12 after another long putt for Eagle.

Scheffler now 2 shots in front of the Fitzpatrick Bogey

The third round of 36-hole leader Scottie Scheffler started and his first hole ended with a par, while Matt Fitzpatrick was slightly switched off during his Par putt and fell back to 8th place and took second place with Haotong Li. Brian Harman took second place to return to 1 to 7-uner after a double bogey.

Mcilroy's discount in No. 1 went wrong and away from the Fairway, but he made it out at the second shot to get a reasonable shot on Birdie. His 36-foot birde putt was true, and he repeated the feat in the second hole and got the Masters Champion 5-Uner for the tournament.

Corey Conners from Canada had a good third round to sneak into the top of the ranking to achieve a chance with a top -tten -finish. Conners have risen by 41 places since the beginning of the third round and is a 4-little, six shots from the pace that the leader of the second round of Scottie Scheffler has set.

John Parry, who on the 192-Yard no. 13 Had a hole-in-one is also a 5-lower round to move to the 10th place. Bryson Dechambeau ended his third round and will enter 2,000 after 68 on Saturday on Sunday.
