Apex Legends Season 26 Lecks: Octane get big buffs

Apex Legends is preparing for Season 26 soon, and fans are excited to see who gets a major buff or nerf next. These are always expected in online shooters, and that’s definitely the case here with Respawn Entertainment’s ongoing hit. Some of these buffs have been leaked, as insiders have discovered that Octane will be getting a major buff soon.

HYPERMYST has uncovered a leak that reveals some of the buffs Octane will be getting in the next season. Octane will be getting a perk called “Assault Plus,” which will integrate their double jump into the base kit. This means that there won’t be a “Double Jump” perk anymore for the character, as it’s all integrated into one Perk here.

The character will also be getting a Perk that lets Octane access Assault Bins, Speed boost & Fast Reload upon cracking shields in-game. For fans who felt like Octane could be a bigger threat in the game, these buffs should be enough to make the character stand out from the rest. At the least, this could make the character become a fan-favorite once Season 26 of Apex Legends hits the game.

Interestingly, HYPERMYST revealed that this buff for Octane was supposed to be released during the second split of Season 25. HYPERMYST claims that the buff was delayed, but didn’t expand on why. We assume that this was due to development issues, but it’s good to know that the buff will be coming with the next season.

Leaks for Apex Legends Season 26 have slowly been revealed, though EA and Respawn are still keeping most of the details close to the vest. Now that we’re halfway through Season 25, we’re sure both companies will be releasing more information fairly soon. In the meantime, fans can just enjoy what the game is now and be patient when it comes to major improvements.
