Why is it important

What to know?

The American Retail Chain World Market initiated a voluntary recall of a series of spread pistachien cacao -cream with Kadayif from the Turkish company EMEK Gıda.

The objects were called back after the samples tested and tested positively for salmonella contamination.

The products called back between June 11 and July 9 have the Batch code 250401, which can be identified on the glass plastic lid. You are marked with the best before the date of April 1, 2027.

The affected products were sold in world market transactions in 32 states across the country.

No diseases in connection with the product have been reported yet, the FDA said.

The recall of the Emek products was initiated for the first time on July 14th and three days later updated by the FDA to classify class I.

A recall of class I is “a situation in which there is a reasonable probability that the use or exposure to a violation of a violation causes serious adverse health consequences or deaths,” said the FDA.

People infected with salmonella can experience fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.

In extreme cases, the bacteria can get into the bloodstream and cause serious diseases such as arterial infections or endocarditis.
