Once again, pouring rain and storms hit the DC region on Saturday, which could lead to floods.

The National Weather Service has published a flood warning for Northwest DC and parts of Montgomery, Prince George's Counties in Maryland and Fairfax County, Virginia, until 8:15 p.m.

In addition, most of the region is under a flood station, until 10 p.m. Central DC under a flood flood warning until 8:45 p.m. Silver Spring, Bethesda and White Oak, Maryland, under a fall flood until 9 p.m.

The precipitation rates of 2 to 4 inches per hour lead to flood floods in the region. Heavy thunderstorms could Produce harmful winds and transformed trees.

The WTOP meteorologist Mike Stinneford reports that there are already water rescues in Silver Spring and TaKoma Park.

These showers are expected to be completed at midnight because the temperatures for a cooler night fall into the 1970s.

Sunday will be another hot day when the temperatures return to the 90s. The heat index feels as if it were in the upper 90s.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny, cooler and less damp. Heights in the low until the mid -1980s.

TUESDAY: Sunny and pleasant with low humidity. Heights in the low until the mid -1980s.
