Augusta leader gather to answer questions from the community about education and crime

Augusta, Ga. (WRDW/dares) – Augusta leader gathered on Saturday morning to hear from the community about problems that affect education and criminal justice.

District Prosecutor Jared Williams and Sheriff Brantley were accompanied by state representatives Karlton Howard and David Wilkerson in Destiny Worship Center Ministries.

The people of the Augusta community were able to ask these managers for potential solutions for problems with regard to educational and judicial systems.

We spoke to one of the organizers why the event is important.

We called the people who have the answers. We called the dignitaries if they want the educators in the city so that they can answer questions. And so we have people here who have questions, and we want those who have the answers to give the answers, ”said Iantha Ussin, secretary of the Outreach from Augusta Community.

The Sheriff's office frequently organizes this type of events.
