Phillies' Alec Bohm broke the left rib, placed on IL

Philadelphia-Phillie's third Baseman Alec Bohm has a broken left rib and was placed on the 10-day injury list on Saturday.

Bohm was injured a week ago when San Diegos Yu Darvish hit him with a field. On Sunday he sat out against the Padres before the All Star break and then played against the Los Angeles Angels on Friday evening.

Bohm strikes with eight homes and 42 RBI in 92 games this season .278.

The utility player Weston Wilson was called up to the angels on the roster before the game of the Phillies game on Saturday evening.
