UFC 318: 'Poirier vs. Holloway 3' Live results and highlights

The Octagon returns to today's UFC 318 event to Louisiana, a 14-member fighting card with the instructions of Dustin Poirier vs. Max Holloway 3.

Poirier (30-9 MMA), a former UFC Interim Lightweight Champion, will fight for the last time this evening in his home state. 'The Diamond' was seen most in action at UFC 302 13 months ago, where he suffered a loss of submission to Islam Makhachev. The 36-year-old has confronted Holloway twice in the past and won both fights, the first through the submission and the second by unanimous decision.

In the meantime, Max Holloway (26-8 MMA) will enter today's trilogy, which he would like to weaken. This after the elimination of Ilia Topuria in his last Octagon appearance last October at UFC 308. Before this Retback, 'Selde', Selde, was a spectacular knockout victory over Justin Gaethje, UFC 300.

UFC 318 is put in the head of a middleweight fight between Paulo Costa and Roman Kopylov.

Costa (14-4 MMA) will hope today's co-headliner in the hope of losing a duel loss from skid. The former Middleweight title -title challenger was last part in UFC 302 in June last year, where he suffered a shared loss of decision against Sean Strickland. 'Borrachinha' achieved his last victory in August 2022 when he defeated the former champion Luke Rockhold by unanimous decision.

In the meantime, Roman Kopylov (14-3 MMA) currently offers a winning series with two strokes after he has earned Octagon victories about Chris Curtis or Cesar Almeida. The Russian outstanding place has been 5-1 in the last five fights.

Also on the UFC 318 main map of UFC 318 is a struggling struggle between Dan Ige and Patricio Pitbull.

IGE (19-9 MMA) will return to the action for the first time since the winning of TKO against Sean Woodson at UFC 314 (see here). This victory brought the Hawaiian back in the Sieg column because he had previously suffered two defeats against Diego Lopes or Lerone Murphy.

In the meantime, Patricio Pitbull (36-8 MMA) gave his official Octagon debut in April and made Yair Rodriguez a one-sided decision. The former Bellator champion has only gone 2: 3 in the last five fights.
