Brittney Griner dominates in Baylor, Phoenix wins lottery


The Phoenix Mercury I had excellent seasons, but they also had some low moments.

The mercury had seasons in which they were well below 500, and their worst season was in 2012. Phoenix ended this season with a record of 7: 27. The 2023 team came close to this record, but they ended 9-31.

Phoenix 'season 2012 was difficult, but she led to one of her greatest additions.

In the year they won the championship, Griner scored an average of 23.2 points, 9.5 rebounds and 5.2 blocks.

It was a good year for her because she had a total of 206 blocks. She almost broke a record that she had set in her first year when her 223 blocks became a NCAA record this season. Griner also had a big game this year when she ended with 45 points. In her last year she had a 50-point game.

Griner made a name for himself and the mercury picked it up. They designed the center and it became a game channel. In her rookie season, she scored an average of 14.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and three blocks, which led to various awards.

Griner became all-star this year, she led the league in blocks and was a member of the WNBA all-rookie team. After her rookie season, the mercury had its spectacular season, and as the saying says, the rest is the story.
