Darren Till against Luke Rockhold, Tony Ferguson against Saltpapi for outsider Boxing 22

Darren Till returns to the boxing ring – just like the former UFC champion Luke Rockhold.

On Wednesday, Misfits Boxing announced the headlining fights for Misfits Boxing 22 on August 30th in Manchester, England. The event is guided between Till and Rockhold and broadcast live on DAZN by a bridal weight – 200 to 224 pounds. In the co-main event, the former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson will give his professional box debut against Nathaniel “Salt Papi”. The match is fought in the middleweight in the 160 pound department.

Till, 32, has been unbeaten in his boxing career since he left MMA in 2023.

Like Till, Rockhold tried to stay active in the striking arts since they left the UFC in 2022. Rockhold fought outside the campaign twice and fought a TKO in the second round in his 2023 Bare Knucking Boxing debut before a highlight reel client by Joe Schilling in a karate combat match in April 2024 against Mike Perry.

Ferguson will also be a newcomer to the MISFITS Boxing Ring. The match will be “El Cucuys” Pro -Boxing debut that left the UFC last January. Ferguson left the doctorate after he had set the unfortunate record for the longest defeat in the UFC story to eight episode. As one of the greatest lightweights in his era during his flowering, he initially intended to stay with MMA, and signed with the Global Fight League, which has no longer appeared, for a fight against the boxing of Misfits Boxing Alum Dillon, but the fight was not before a single event because of the collapse of the GFL.

Among all four athletes announced for MISFITS Boxing 22, the well-known influencer boxer Salt Papi is the most experienced in boxing ring. The 31-year-old currently runs with a win of three games in his exhibition career with a 6-2 record. Outside of his debut in March 2022, Salzpapi in all its victories left behind.
