UFC 318 results: Daniel Rodriguez wins the decision about Kevin Holland after the crazy back and forth war

Daniel Rodriguez put Kevin Holland almost twice in the second round, but then had to survive a late comeback to secure a decision victory in a crazy back and forth war at UFC 318.

Rodriguez looked better than ever before and blew Holland in the second round with some evil combinations, which put the always active world weight on the ground on the ground. Somehow Holland found a way to survive again and again, and he almost paid Rodriguez after he had settled in the last round of Los Angeles.

This time Rodriguez was turning to scrape back and scratch back before he ended the fight on Holland when he finally expired. In the end, the judges all agreed with 29:28 scorecards across the board when Rodriguez achieved an impressive victory.

“This fight was tight,” said Rodriguez after he had increased his hand. “I took the fight at short notice, thanks UFC for the opportunity. I did that, let's go! You can never count me. You have to bring me out to get out. In this third round I deserve it.”

Rodriguez immediately came out aggressively, pressed forward and threw a stamp with Holland to survive the storm. Holland avoided serious damage when he brought Rodriguez back with long blows and then fired a few kicks.

Holland's accuracy paid off over time, but he still had to be careful when he came back to him from Rodriguez. As with the clockwork, Rodriguez combined with a stiff shot that supported Holland to the cage, but he quickly smiled back to his opponent to show that it was still okay for him.

When the second round began, Rodriguez invited a huge blow, which immediately rattled Holland when he defended his back and tried to avoid further punishment. Rodriguez finally left Holland on his feet and he cracked it with another stinging shot.

Holland stumbled back to the ground, whereby Rodriguez immediately approached him, but was still unable to achieve the finish. When the fight moved in the wrong direction, Holland finally countered with a takedown and tried to grab a d'Arce choke, but Rodriguez could listen to it.

Back on the feet, Rodriguez Holland hammered with another amazing blow, although it seemed as if his gas tank ran low.

While he was not as fast as Holland on his feet, Rodriguez found an innate ability to start a huge left hand that just seemed to find a home on the chin. Despite all the punishment he absorbed, Holland kept coming up and he dropped Rodriguez onto the screen.

Holland smell in the water in the water and really began to unload shots to try the finish. Rodriguez always found a way to survival and after a while he actually landed on Holland in the mountain.

Understandably exhausted, Rodriguez dropped a few more strokes before the last horn sounded so much to end the three-round war. It was a battle of wear, but a well -deserved victory for Rodriguez, which has now achieved three victories in a row in a very deep department in the world weight.

As far as Holland is concerned, he comes briefly and falls 2-2 in 2025 after explaining plans for fighting at least seven times this year.
