The publication time for the Perpetual desert is 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. GMT / 7 p.m. CEST on July 19, 2025.

Emblems

You will earn Third unknown RAID emblem for completing the desert in every difficulty. In addition, you can earn that Power color tones emblem By watching every Destiny 2 stream on Twitch on July 19 from 6 p.m. to 6 p.m. PT. You will be able to get that Golden relief Emblem by giving a Twitch subscription in the Destiny 2 category from 6 p.m. on July 19 to 10 a.m. on July 29 from 6 p.m. PT.

The desert -perpetual competition mode

If you manage to complete all the encounters in the desert in the first 48 hours, you will receive the Timeline Blade Raid Emblem.

Disabled elements of competitive mode

According to a contribution by Bungie, the following elements are deactivated during the competitive mode. They can be equipped, but their effects will not work in the raid itself.
