UFC 318 results: Paulo Costa calls 'Feiglinge' Khamzat Chimaev after the dominant victory against Roman Kopylov

Paulo Costa returned on Saturday with a vintage performance to beat Roman Kopylov at the UFC 318 Co-Main event.

A nasty representation of tremosity and overall striking ingenuity made it possible to crush it to crush Kopylov after the round. He came close to a goal in the second round after achieving a knockdown, but Kopylov showed enough willpower to survive, even though he knew that the struggle had disappeared from him.

The judges achieved the fight 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28, with Costa achieving victory.

“It was a difficult moment for me,” said Costa, after he had come into battle two defeats in a row. “I did a lot of work, a lot of work in my head. It is not good to get some losses. My strategy, my schedule was to stay here and get up with it.”

Costa opened the fight with a variety of kicks on legs and body before going back into his head with his punch combinations. Kopylov shot back with a few solid combinations, but also did his best to avoid one of the big hay manufacturers from Costa.

Costa abused Kopylov's bone bone absolutely with kicks and then he corked a massive blow to fly the Russian's mouthpiece. Kopylov was forced to dive one leg, with Costa letting hammer fists in succession to achieve the finish.

Kopylov held tight and put it back to start the second round, but he just couldn't get much offensive, since Costa continued to dig up to his legs and then punished him with blows on head and body. In the middle of the round, Costa loaded a huge right hand that Kopylov stumbled and sent him backwards to the cage.

Kopylov stuck in the mud and couldn't do much of anything and he only ate a flood of strikes from the former Middleweight title.

With only five minutes, Kopylov did not seem to switch to despite two rounds. He got a bit more active, but Kopylov did not threaten Costa enough to really ward off him.

Kopylov finally managed to stab late in the Costa fight with a hard right hand, but he just didn't follow it to possibly overwhelm him. Over time, Costa managed to find a home for another stiff right hand to secure the victory.

Back in the victory -Costa wasted no time to turn his attention to his old rival Khamzat Chimaev, whom he claimed during the fighter week of having sent his wife direct news on social media, which only gave the fire to fuel when it came to struggling against the Chechen Mauler.

“Everyone knows, I hate this guy, everyone knows who, this motherf*cker [Khamzat] Chimaev, “called Costa.” He is a big ASH*LE. He says bad things about me about it [my wife]. He is a coward. I'll hunt you. I won't stop until I come to you. “
