Typhoon Wiphha meets Hong Kong and brings the highest stormmal tale | Hong Kong


Hong Kong spent its highest tropical cyclone warning when the Taifun -Wipha took the city, with the authorities canceled school classes and had taken hundreds of flights.

The Wiphha was about 60 km southeast of Hong Kong on Sunday from 10 a.m. Huge waves were discovered off the eastern coast of Hong Kong Island.

Hundreds of people sought refuge in state -run temporary accommodations. A man was looking for medical treatment in the emergency room of a public hospital on Sunday morning. Officials received more than a dozen reports on fallen trees.

The authorities suspended the lessons on Sunday at everyday schools and daycare centers.

Local trains only offered limited services, while operation was suspended in open sections.

Wiphha brought heavy rains and floods to the Philippines and two people were reported as missing in accordance with the national disaster Council of the country.

Hong Kong recently used the T10 warning signal for Super Typhoon Saola in 2023.
