The suspect was looking for sexual crimes in Pinal County shot

Phoenix – A suspect who wanted to have sex crimes against children is dead after a shootout with the Sheriff office of the Pinal County is involved on Friday.

The shootout occurred in the city of Winkelman, south of Globe and east of Florence, the authorities said.

According to the Pinal County's office, the MP found the suspect at around 9:59 p.m. near the intersection of the Second Street and State Route 77.

The MPs say that the 60-year-old man rejected commands and took out a pistol.

The MPs said that he then divided a round and took an offensive position towards the MPs, which led to the law enforcement authorities shot on the suspect.

An investigation is underway.

The Sergeant, which was released on the suspect, was placed on the paid administrative leave, the Sheriff's office.

Two shootings in one week

This was the second shooting of officers who affected the deputies of the sheriff of the sheriff in Pinal County in a week.

The first occurred on Thursday evening in Queen Creek when a 46-year-old woman was shot after firing a weapon to MP after a crash.
