Man shot in Kansas City, Missouri early Sunday morning

Kansas City, Mo – Kansas City, Missouri, police examined the death of a man on Sunday morning east of the Troost Avenue.

The officers were sent to the 1300 block of East 89th Street shortly before 6 a.m. to check a report on shots fired in the area.

They arrived and were brought to an apartment in which the victim had gone after the shot.

He died a short time later in a hospital, according to a press release from the police authority.

His name was not published.

According to the press release, the victim was probably shot outside the apartment.
