Jannik Sünder, Novak Djokovic, Jack Draper withdraws from Toronto

Toronto-Wimbledon-Champion Jannik Sinner, 24-time Grand Slam title winner Novak Djokovic and Jack Draper with a 5-ranking tournament, withdrew on Sunday from the Masters 1000 tournament in Toronto, which begins in injuries in a week.

The No. 1 Sinner quoted his injured right elbow, which he injured in a fall in the fourth round in the All England Club on the way to his first title there and the fourth major trophy.

In 2023 he won his first Masters 1000 title in Toronto.

“Winning in Toronto two years ago was the beginning of a very special moment for me, but after talking to my team, I have to recover,” said Sinner.

Djokovic accused a groin injury for his retreat from an event that he won four times. He lost to sinners in the semi -finals in Wimbledon.

Draper will miss Toronto and the Cincinnati Masters next month because of a problem with his left arm, which means that he does not play in a hardcourt tune tournament before the US Open begins on August 24th.

“According to Wimbledon, I took up an injury in my left arm, nothing serious, but I have to make sure that she recovered completely for the rest of the season,” wrote Draper on social media. “Unfortunately I can't compete in Toronto and Cincinnati … see you in NYC!”
