VTDigger and Vermont Public are hosting a U.S. Senate debate with Bernie Sanders and Gerald Malloy on Wednesday

The final event of the 2024 Digger Debate Series will pit two candidates vying to represent Vermont in the U.S. Senate against each other on Wednesday, October 23, at 7 p.m

The debate is co-hosted by VTDigger and Vermont Public. U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Republican candidate Gerald Malloy will attend. Watch it live on this site, the VTDigger YouTube channel, or Vermont Public’s main television and radio channels.

The debate will be co-moderated by Shaun Robinson, a state government and business reporter for VTDigger, and Mikaela Lefrak, moderator and executive producer of Vermont Public’s “Vermont Edition.”

Earlier this month, VTDigger hosted debates with candidates for governor, lieutenant governor and U.S. House of Representatives.
