After the sale of some models of the Amazon Fire TV Stick had to be stopped in Germany for licensing reasons, Amazon is now bringing a new Amazon Fire TV Stick HD onto the market. It is now available on Amazon for €44.99, but does not bring any breathtaking innovations. The remote control offers some improvements, for example by making it easier to control other devices such as the television or your own soundbar. And the taste with which you can switch to live TV was not previously included. In addition, anyone who has connected their smart home to Alexa can operate everything via the Alexa control on the new Fire TV Stick HD. Technically, the new Amazon Fire TV Stick does not offer any major innovations. It also has a resolution of up to 1080p in Full HD, Dolby Atmos audio and Wi-Fi 5.

With the Amazon Fire TV Stick you can easily bring the content of your own streaming service Prime Video to your TV screen at home. In addition to well-known Amazon Originals like LOL: Last One Laughing, the streaming service also offers blockbusters like The Accountant. Prime Video will also broadcast the top game of the UEFA Champions League live and exclusively on Tuesday.

With the Fire TV Stick you can not only bring Prime Video content to the TV screen, but also numerous apps from streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+, RTL+, DAZN or WOW. Even without an Amazon Prime subscription, you can watch Prime Video content with the Fire TV Stick for a rental or purchase fee.
