Elon Musk’s ex Grimes sparks debate by claiming she became ‘a lot less gay’ after her pregnancy

Elon Musk’s ex-girlfriend Grimes sparked debate on her X/Twitter account on Tuesday when she announced that she was feeling a change in her sexuality following her pregnancy.

The 36-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter posted a statement and a follow-up question on the social media platform now owned by her ex.

“After I got pregnant, I became a lot less gay,” said the Flesh Without Blood artist, who shares three children with the Tesla CEO. “My ability to concentrate on reading and writing has improved significantly, as has my overall creativity, but my ability to concentrate on technical things has *severely* decreased.”

Grimes asked her 1.3 million followers: “Can hormones explain all of this?”

The We Appreciate Power singer and the SpaceX CEO are parents to four-year-old son X Æ A-12 Musk; three-year-old daughter Exa Dark Sideræl; and son Techno Mechanicus, whose exact age has not been publicly revealed.

The Vancouver native, whose full name is Claire Elise Boucher, answered questions from followers who responded to her initial query.

When a follower said that her gay feelings depended on being “in a straight relationship” with a less than agreeable partner, Grimes responded, “I feel that way.” [should] But make me gayer.’

One user told Grimes that the Musk-run platform wasn’t the best place to get good answers on the topic.

“Ask a doctor, X is not the best place because you’ll get 100 different theories,” the user told Grimes, who said she was “kind of curious.” [about] There are theories circulating on this topic.

Grimes said her “testosterone levels plummeted” after a user suggested she get her testosterone and DHEA levels checked, adding that she plans to contact the doctor about it.

When asked to clarify what she meant by “being less gay,” the musician said she was “just less interested in dating girls.”

Grimes and Musk split more than three years ago, as he told Page Six in September 2021 that he and Grimes were “semi-separated.”

He said at the time that she would continue to live in a house he owned in California.

“My work at SpaceX and Tesla primarily requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling abroad, and their work primarily takes place in LA,” Musk said. “She lives with me now and Baby X is in the next room.”

Musk, 53, has been vocal in his support for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in recent weeks and has been married three times in the past.
