Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda is set to reunite with a familiar character in the upcoming film “Scarlet Witch.”

Marvel fans have a lot to look forward to, as rumors point to a Scarlet Witch solo film possibly coming in 2026. Elizabeth Olsen is expected to return as Wanda Maximoff, with WandaVision and Agatha All Along screenwriters Jac Schaeffer and Megan McDonnell reportedly working on the script.

According to sources like Mttsh, an exciting twist could be on the way. Wanda could face off against her former nemesis Agatha Harkness, played by Kathryn Hahn, but this time the two could join forces to take on a new threat.

This rumor is in line with developments in the Disney+ series Agatha All Along, in which Agatha is now allied with Wanda’s son Billy Maximoff.

Wanda’s final appearance in the MCU was in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, where her character’s dark turn ended in apparent redemption when she sacrificed herself to destroy the Darkhold.

Although the MCU is presumably dead, it is known for unexpected returns.
