There are currently tons of free eBooks for Kindle etc. – but not for long

If you are fluent in English, “Stuff your Kindle Day 2024” is a great opportunity to get to know new books. After all, they are free!

First things first: What exactly is “Stuff your Kindle Day”?

“Stuff your Kindle Day”: What is it?

Stuff your Kindle Day takes place several days a year. The exact dates are usually announced a few months in advance.

On this day, numerous (new) authors and publishers offer their eBooks for free or at greatly reduced prices. A great opportunity for interested readers to fill their digital libraries with a variety of books from different genres and authors without paying a cent.

Genres: There are books from various genres including fiction, non-fiction, novels, thrillers, fantasy and more. The selection of genres depends primarily on the publishers who support this book day.

Limited time: The offers are limited in time, usually to 24 hours. You also have to be quick when browsing. If you missed the offer, you’ll have to wait for the next promotion – more on that in a moment.

Not just limited to Kindle and Amazon: As a rule, you don’t need a Kindle to sell at the event, but rather an Amazon account including a Kindle app. The publishers also offer various eBooks for different platforms outside of Amazon. When it comes to books, it is most often stated which provider the book is available from.

These are the current and next dates

• October 22, 2024: The publisher Romance Book Lovers hosted the event with romance novels in various sub-genres (currently still ongoing).
• October 24, 2024: The event is supported by the Cozy Mystery Book Club. The daily schedule primarily focuses on mystery genre books.
• November 15, 2024: On this day Alpharoll hosts Stuff your Kindle Day. The genre is romance novels with male main characters.

Does Stuff your Kindle Day also have books in German?

As mentioned at the beginning, most books are only available in English. A German version of the respective book may not be available or may only be available at the regular price.

In the past, German publishers and authors have also taken part in the Stuff your Kindle Days. Also: browse and be lucky.

Tip: In addition to Amazon, there are other providers such as Thalia, Bücher.de and others with free offers. Outside of such organized events, the selection of free e-books is usually smaller. But a look doesn’t hurt.
