Man fatally injured by shot in Kalk

Cologne – An unknown person fatally injured a 32-year-old in Cologne with several shots. The details are still unclear.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but died shortly afterwards. This is reported by the Cologne police.

Accordingly, witnesses said that the perpetrator was masked and dressed in dark clothing.

After the crime, which, according to the police, occurred around 4:45 p.m. in front of a fitness studio on Wipperfürther Straße in the Kalk district, the young man is said to have fled on an e-scooter.

However, it is now clear that several shots were fired. One of them apparently went through the rear window of a car. The man was standing next to this car when he was hit, the spokesman continued.

There are indications that the 32-year-old also came from the studio area and wanted to get into the car.

There was also a woman sitting in the car. Although they remained physically intact, they now had to be cared for spiritually.
