BARRON COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) – The Barron County Sheriff’s Department is asking victims of a Rice Lake man arrested as part of an Abercrombie & Fitch investigation to contact the FBI.

The Barron County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that James Jacobson was arrested in the Rice Lake area on the morning of October 22, 2024.

A Facebook post from the Barron County Sheriff’s Department reads in part: “Today the Barron County Sheriff’s Department assisted the FBI in the arrest of a local man who lives outside of Rice Lake.” Although we don’t believe that “There are local victims, the FBI’s investigation is ongoing and you should call 1-800-Call-FBI if you believe you are a victim of Mr. Jacobson.”

The Associated Press reports that former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries, his romantic partner and a third man were arrested Tuesday on charges of luring men to sex parties around the world.

Court documents from the U.S. District Court Eastern District of New York show that the other two men arrested include Matthew Smith and James Jacobson.
