Community report released – Great Bend Tribune

Barton Community College has released its annual Community Report, showcasing the institution’s achievements and progress over the past academic year.

Published each fall, the report describes how the college has fulfilled its mission through various success stories and key data points. The document is organized around the college’s strategic “goals” established by the Board of Trustees and provides readers with clear, accessible data through charts, graphs, and stories from current and former Barton students.

Standout achievements of the 2023-2024 academic year include a student population exceeding 10,000, making Barton the second largest community college in Kansas by employee size for the seventh consecutive year. Additionally, the college’s operations generated $30 million in economic impact for Barton County.
