The former LVMPD sergeant under investigation faces new child pornography charges

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Sergeant Kevin Menon is facing new charges during an ongoing investigation by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department Child pornography cases.

Menon was arrested on Wednesday morning two points the possession of a visual depiction of a person’s sexual behavior under 16 years.

Menon was employed at LVMPD since 2014. He was assigned to the Tourist Security Department.

He was deployed in September leave without payment.

Channel 13 reported on Menon’s Oct. 10 indictment by a Clark County grand jury on charges of oppression, solicitation of perjury and assault on a protected person.
