Explore Doctor Dillamond’s Shiz University classroom from WICKED

Class has now started! Wicked has released a new video that gives viewers a closer look at Doctor Dillamond’s imaginative and whimsical classroom. The Professor, voiced by Peter Dinklage in the upcoming film, is a talking goat who works as a history teacher at Shiz University.

In the new video, director Jon M. Chu introduces some of his classroom’s unique features, including a custom-made door, an accessible projector device and more. Chu also explains the importance of the animal kingdom in the world of Oz, which represents a major plot point in the film’s story.

About WICKED

The film adaptation “Wicked” stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda. They are joined by Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Ethan Slater as Boq, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible and Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard.

Marissa Bode will portray Nessarose, Elphaba’s younger sister. The characters also include Pfannee and ShenShen, two devious compatriots of Glinda, played by Emmy nominees Bowen Yang (Saturday Night Live) and Bronwyn James (Harlots), as well as a new character created for the film, Miss Coddle, played by Tony nominee Keala Settle (The Greatest Showman). Aaron Teoh joins as Avaric, Michael Carmichael as Nikidik. Emmy winner Peter Dinklage will star in the film Dr. Play Dillamond.
